It's a tradition,isn't it? To start new year with a new project of some new yarn,- the knitters will totally understand me! I decided to try some patterns out of this yarn, to play with it,fun!

I knitted the Arlo cardigan with it,now I have another colour, but the structure,the texture is the same,love it.  Just so love it!

The  slip-stitches (found this one here )

Cast on a multiple of 6 + 5 stitches. Add 2 selvage stitches if you want to make a nice-looking edge.

Row 1 (right side): [p2, k1], repeat brackets to last 2 sts, p2.

Row 2 (wrong side): [k2, p1], repeat brackets to last 2 sts, k2.

Row 3 (right side): p1, [sl 3 wyif, p1, k1, p1], repeat brackets to last 4 sts, sl 3 wyif, p1.

Row 4 (wrong side): k1, sl 3 wyib, [k1, p1, k1, sl 3 wyib], repeat brackets to last st, k1.

Row 5 (right side): [p2, k1], repeat brackets to last 2 sts, p2.

Row 6 (wrong side): [k2, p1], repeat brackets to last 2 sts, k2.

Row 7 (right side): p1, [p1, k1, p1, sl 3 wyif], repeat brackets to last 4 sts, p1, k1, p2.

Mimimi

I'm finishing the sweater for my godson,the little boy of  3 years old, very sweet and very cute.

The pattern is not from a fancy book or a piece of some popular designer,just from Drops design. I find they have pretty simple but gorgeous designs for kids( and for adults as well!) and for free! Just check it out! Drops design

I chose s22-43 "Igor"  jumper with raglan sleeves, cables, and double seed st in ”Merino Extra Fine”

Arlo 2

 Well, hi there! 

Winter is just perfect for knitting,crafting and watching some movies,isn't it? 

So the same here, open fire, knitting and some movies. 

Love it!

Like I've mentioned before here , I've loved Arlo cardigan so much that I've started the 2nd one, 

not a cardigan but a sweater.

I couldn't say 'no' to this cuteness, pretty stitches,lovely cables and the perfect yarn .

I used Stone Washed XL by Scheepjes.

Weight Bulky / 12 ply (7 wpi) ?

Meterage 82 yards (75 meters)

Unit weight 50 grams (1.76 ounces)

Gauge 14.0 sts = 4 inches

Needle size US 8 - 5.0 mm

In June I already used the yarn by Scheepjes , it was Stone Washed  (I knitted the Hooded Raglan Pullover, click here ). 

So this time it was "XL',pretty yarn, amazing colours,loved knitting with it, doesn't split,very soft.

Tubular cast on method for the rib, very nice instructions of the designer.

I got some new yarn a couple of days ago, and what would I say-it's fabulous! It's that love from the first sight,it's pretty,soft, and most important-lovely in knitting. Love it!

Autumn hats

Какая у нас погодка стоит уже недельки три,золотая осень или даже лето,днем на великах в футболках, в середине октября-супер!

Но нас пугают холодом,брр.. пришлось разбираться с контейнером шапок и беретов,все ,что осталось,хотя я не ношу по два сезона одно и тоже,если только очень сильно не влюблюсь в вязалочку)

ну и вывод-мне нечего одеть и нужно срочно вязать,вот такие хочу
